Our story is woven with threads of joy, companionship, and the unconditional love of dogs. Over the years, I've had the privilege of being a parent to five amazing dog breeds.
Each one of these furry companions brought their unique personality into my life, teaching me the true essence of companionship. They've stood by me through thick and thin, proving to be more than just pets – they're family.
Pickles: The Dog Who Healed My Heart
The soul of Everything Golden lies with my first Golden Retriever, Pickles. She entered my life during a period of profound grief after the loss of my only child. Pickles was far more than a pet; she was my healer, my "soul" dog.
Her presence brought light into the darkest corners of my heart, teaching me how to find joy in the little moments again. Sadly, after enriching my life for 12 wonderful years, Pickles passed away, leaving a void so deep it took me four years to begin to fill it.
Ludi: Carrying the Legacy Forward
Today, Ludi, my vibrant four-year-old Golden Retriever, continues the legacy of love and healing that Pickles started. Ludi is a bundle of intelligence, affection, and a bit of delightful stubbornness.
Her pure-hearted nature and unwavering support have been my pillars through life's rollercoaster. With Ludi, every day is an adventure, a chance to learn, and an opportunity to experience the world with the same unbridled joy and love that Pickles taught me.
